"Bound by Desire" by Rebecca Lyndon was a very surprising and gratifying read! I absolutely love the "Masters of Mercy" series (also penned by Ms. Lyndon), so becoming invested in another series from this author was thoroughly embraced.This first installment of "The Arcadian Curse" series is exactly what I've come to expect from this author, i.e., well rounded characters, a unique premise/twist reminiscent of one (or should I say--two =:-) of my favorite classic literary personalities, and a compelling and believable story--all confined to a novella! Now, that takes skill and craftsmanship...
I am anxious to see what Ms. Lyndon has in store for future installments.

WOW! Amazing modern day Mr Hyde. Hot read. Steamy and sinfully sexy. Hope there is more to come from the family.
For those readers who were clamoring for Rebecca to write a longer story...wait no longer. Bound by Desire is that book! This new series features heroes cursed to change into a beast and in their minds, cursed to always be alone. Besides her trademark intense physical scenes, Grant and Sarah's story is emotional and very satisfying. I cannot wait for the next book in this series!!
Rebecca Lyndon writes the sex I want to read, which is great. Her scenes are HOT and so well-crafted. What I really appreciate is her mastery of story, though. This is not an erotic novella that is purely about sex -- the characters are real, and the stakes are high. I can't wait for the next one.
Sarah loved her job of treating animals so, when given a chance to learn more about a wild beast, she jumps at the opportunity. Even if the wild beast is a man who does everything to keep people away from him so they never learn his secrets.
Grant is both intriguing, yummy and a bit petrifying. Though Sarah may fear what she is getting herself into she still cannot break the spell that Grant seems to cast over her. With his gorgeous cowboy look and blatant masculinity I can see how she is so quickly consumed by the man. I myself would find it difficult to resist his appeal even as he shoved me out of the door.
This story enthralled me from beginning to end. I was disappointed that I had read it so quickly, because I was not ready to leave the world the author drew me into. I loved the mystery behind Grant and the firm, yet submissive, Sarah. I could have read about their story for day and still not have been satisfied. Hopefully I will get to see them again soon whether it be re-reading this story, in another story, or in my dreams.

Very good read. Hot! Sexy! I want more! I prefer longer books and this story has the potential to be a full novel I would Definately buy!
Well done, Rebecca Lyndon. The writing was clean with very few grammatical mistakes. Well thought out story line and strong, well developed characters...primary and secondary. I'm looking forward to reading her other work.
